Oli Dillon Squire is a lifelong animal lover, environmental and human rights advocate and passionate nature enthusiast. Oli created AFOP is 2009 to be an educational resource for people concerned about our planet and the enormous levels of problems facing the climate, animal species and humans.
'‘When I created AFOP I wanted to channel all my knowledge of deforestation, politics, human rights and animal rights into the website and wanted to cover a diverse range of topics so that the website would be interesting to a broad audience. There are countless problems in our world that need addressing, from children starving in East Africa to animals being killed and sold as ornaments so I have tried to address some of these issues through the website and through the blog. The level of support for AFOP has been astonishing and I really want to thank everyone for taking their time to read articles on the website and for spreading the message on Twitter, Facebook and other sites.’’
Oli is also a website designer, the UK Ambassador for Shiny Day Social Services Association (SDSSA) Ethiopia and has worked with special needs children and adults in the U.S. and vulnerable children and victims of child trafficking in Ethiopia.
