Action for our Planet: Taking action today, for a better tomorrow.

This website acts as an educational resource, inspiring people to take action for the planet by raising awareness, utilising knowledge and encouraging others to become advocates for the planet and it's inhabitants.

AFOP was set up with the vision of informing people about matters that should be of great concern. These real world concerns have developed as a result of human greed. Humankind’s capabilities to exploit the vulnerable, the earth and its resources has led to countless problems that need to be resolved. These problems can be outlined as; Animal Cruelty, Climate Change, Political Corruption and Human Exploitation.

These problems can be overcome with human potency but it is only made possible through spreading the message and educating people so that they can take direct action to change our world. It is everyday people that become world changers, whether they be switching to a vegetarian diet, becoming more eco-friendly or standing up against what they deem is unfair or wrong.

Action for our Planet is divided up into four main sections; Climate Change,Rainforests, Animal Cruelty and Politics. Each of these sections describes the issues in detail and provides information on action that can be taken to make the world a better place. There are also different subsections on the site such as the Spotlight, Top 10 and Blog all of which are updated regularly.

It is important to note that this website does not want to force specific views on to others, it merely presents the issues and combines this information with plausible solutions for change.

Rainforests

The world's rainforests are of vital importance in terms of their ecological significance but are being destroyed at an unsustainable rate.

The world of politics is full of complexities from the flawed elements of western democracy to the denial of rights to the masses. This page explores the issues of inequality, unequal wealth distribution, corporate greed, media bias and exploitation.

Spotlight

AFOP features a spotlight section which goes into detail on a variety of world issues. It examines a wide range of subjects such as, Hidden Ingredients that can be found in food's and cosmetics and Unethical Companies that exploit both humans and animals.
