Below is a list of frequently asked questions regarding Action for our Planet and the issues discussed on this website. This section is provided for your convenience and to help answer some of your questions. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries or requests for additional information.

Does AFOP allow advertising?

We have started to feature advertisements on our website on a trial basis with Google Adsense. We will review the success of the trial and will continue or discontinue with advertisements after analysing the results.

Does AFOP allow links to external websites?

We like to support other websites and feature links in our Action & Links section. We also feature links as references in our Spotlight sections. If you would like your link added to our website then please Contact us. We will accept all links providing that they are relevant to the content of this site.

Does AFOP use graphic images of animal cruelty?

We try to limit the number of graphic images featured on our website. While an image depicting an animal suffering is hard-hitting and effective in conveying a message, we prefer not to depict such images as most of our site visitors are already aware of the cruelty involved in certain industries. In a minority of instances, our website will feature such images when no other appropriate image is available or if we need to emphasise a specific aspect of cruelty.

Does AFOP try to force views on others?

Absolutely not, we aim to provide people with information on varying issues including; Animal Cruelty, Climate Change and Politics. It is up to the individual to make their own conclusions upon reading the content of this site.

Will AFOP reply to me if I email them?

Yes we always try to respond as soon as possible, we enjoy hearing from our site visitors and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Can I share links and help promote AFOP?

Of course, we rely on our site visitors sharing links to our website on social networks, blogs, forums and personal websites. Please feel free to share links to Action for our Planet as much as you like.

How can I find out about the latest updates on AFOP?

We post almost all of our site updates on our Twitter and Facebook Pages. Important updates such as a new Spotlight, Campaign, Top 10 or Blog will be featured on the Action for our Planet homepage.

Does AFOP research issues before publishing a section on them?

Yes we always thoroughly research an issue when writing a Spotlight, Blog or any other section on our website. We use a wide source of different materials including books, information packages and online resources.

Can my organisation do a joint campaign with AFOP?

We understand the importance of cooperation and enjoy working with other organisations. If you would like to conduct a joint campaign with us then please Contact us.

Why does AFOP spell some words like organisation with an 's' instead of a 'z'?

We use British English spellings as opposed to American English. For example British English spellings include: realise, organise and recognise whilst American English spellings include: realize, organize and recognize.

What countries does AFOP receive site visitors from?

Action for our Planet works hard to make the content of this website relevant to as many people in as many countries as possible. We always try to focus on issues that affect different populations in a large number of different countries. We receive site visitors from over 163 different countries but the majority of our site visitors from the following countries: USA 42.95%, UK 15.3%, Canada 8.25%, Australia 7.01%, Malaysia 3.99% and India 3.56%.
