Action for our Planet is committed to respecting the privacy of our members and site visitors. AFOP employs various methods to assure the confidentiality of your personal information.

Personal Information

Whilst we store the email addresses of our members in our email system, we never have and never will disclose your email to any company, website or individual unless you specifically ask us to. The emails in our system are solely used by Action for our Planet for the purpose of sending newsletters and communicating with members. AFOP does not collect any personal information about users except that which is specifically supplied to us by the user. We will never pass on your information to third parties. The only instances where an individuals name appears is in a guest blog whereby the guest blogger has given us permission to use their name. Similarly, site visitors or members may use their names in comment boxes. This is at the sole discretion of the site visitor or member. Action for our Planet uses Google Analytics to assess the number of site visitors and the countries of residence of site visitors, however no personal data regarding names or addresses is collected.

Newsletters

Upon signing up to Action for our Planet members are given the option to sign up for a newsletter. If you wish to unsubscribe at any time you can either Contact us or click unsubscribe on one of the email newsletters.

Under 18’s

If you are under 18 years old, we suggest you obtain consent from your parent or guardian before signing up as a member. We encourage parents to be involved in children’s activities on the internet and to be aware of the activities they are participating in, including exploring the content of our site.
