The world's most unethical companies have been compiled by Swiss research company Covalence in their 2010 annual review of multinational corporations. The research company examined both quantitative and qualitative data of over 581 companies. These companies were rated using 45 different criteria including a companies human rights record and labour standards.
Most of the companies which made it into the top 10 have a very poor track record when it comes to human rights and they tend to be infamous for their exploitation of workers in third world countries. These corporations have multi-billion dollar annual profits, enabling them to get away with the worst of crimes. The only way to fight the corruption of these companies is to boycott them and to put pressure on our governments to intervene.
