Action for our Planet- Polar Bear Trophy Hunting: The polar bear is considered a threatened species by the IUCN with over 22,000-25,000 thought to remain in the wild. Every year, over 700 polar bears are slaughtered in Canada for the purpose of 'sport' and pleasure. Paying up to $35,000 USD, hunters chase polar bears down with dogs after which they shoot the animal
Karakul Lamb Fur Cruelty: Karakul Lamb fur, also referred to as Astrakhan, Persian wool and broadtail is used in the fashion industry by many designers including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana. Karakul fur comes from either a newborn or purposely aborted lamb. Lambs are killed for their fur either after being taken from their mothers womb or after several days from birth.
Top 10 Poorest Countries: Nine out of ten of the countries featured in the Top 10 are located in Africa. The average Gross Domestic Product per capita has been used to determine the world's poorest countries. The data was compiled by the International Monetary Fund and the CIA World Factbook.

Action for our Planet Joint Campaign: Action for our Planet (AFOP) is planning a joint campaign with other animal advocacy organisations, animal charities, individuals and websites to ask Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton (LVMH) shareholders to pressure LVMH into dropping fur once and for all. We will have a petition focused on approximately 10 of Louis Vuitton's biggest shareholders and we hope that by working together with other organisations, more and more signatures can be achieved.
